This water pump controller is fully automatic along with manual mode. This model is suitable for submersible pump (installed in underrground) used to lift water in overhead tank. When the water level of overhead tank fall below a specified level (middle sensor) then the Automatic Water Level Controller turns ON the pump. When water level of overhead tank reaches to in upper level (top sensor) then Automatic Water Level Controller turn off the pump.

13. This automatic water level indicator has dry run indicator. After switching ON the pump the controller checks the water level for 5 minutes. If OL sensor detects water level within this time then pump goes on running further. Otherwise the controller stops the pump and the dry run indicator LED glows.
14. This controller has delay circuits which delay the main power for few seconds. This feature protects the internal circuit and also pump from surge voltage during the comeback of main power.
15. Due to any reason if the automatic water level controller do not work then user can operate the pump manually. This feature very useful and not require emergency servicing. This automatic water level controller provides an emergency ON/OFF switch. Using this push button switch user can either ON of OFF the pump as his/her requirement when the AUTO/MANUAL switch is in AUTO position. If you want to ON the pump then press this switch once. To OFF the pump you can press this switch again otherwise the pump will be switched OFF automatically when the tank is filled with water. This feature is useful in sometimes like during summer at morning underground water level remain much than the noon or after noon. You can ON the pump by pressing this switch. The pump will be switched OFF automatically or you can switch OFF the pump manually by pressing again.

This Automatic Water Level Controller has two modes of operation.
1. Automatic Mode: In automatic mode of operation, the pump is started or stopped automatically. When the water level of overhead tank falls below the specified level i.e. below the middle sensor, the automatic water level controller turns on the pump. When water level of overhead tank reaches at top sensor then automatic water level controller turn off the pump. In this mode, the the START and STOP buttons of submersible starter panel are not work.
2. Manual Mode: In manual mode the pump is operated manually as usual. In this mode, the pump is operated by START and STOP buttons of submersible starter panel. In manual mode the internal circuit of automatic water level controller remains in switched off condition and no electric power consumes.
N.B.: Once the pump is switched ON manually it will contiue untill it is switched off manually. Thus do not forget to switch off the pump when it is running in mamual mode.

1. AUTO/MAMUAL Switch: This is the mode selection switch. In AUTO mode the pump runs automatically when the water level of overhead tank falls below the specified level (i.e. below the middle sensor) and stops automatically when the water level of overhead tank reaches at top sensor or water level of reserver tank falls below the speicified level i.e. middle sensor. In MANUAL mode the pump is started or stopped manually.
2. DRY RUN LED: When the pump is started then automatic water level controller check the water level of overhead tank. If the controller is able to detect the water at middle sensor within 2 minutes then the controller allows the pump to run further otherwise it stops the pump immediately and energizes the dry run led.
3. MOTOR ON LED: Glow this LED when motor is ON.
4. POWER LED: Glow this LED when mains power is applied. When mains power is applied then POWER LED emits red light indicating that the system is not ready. After 3 seconds the POWER LED emits green light indicating that the system is ready for operation.
5. AUTO LED: Glows this LED when mode selection switch is in AUTO position.
6. MANUAL LED: Glows this LED when mode selection switch is in MANUAL position.
7. Water level indicators for Overhead Tank: There are three LEDs for indicating water levels in overhead tank. 1. Full:- Glows this LED when the overhead tank is full with water. 2. MODERATE:- Glows this LED when the water level is between top and middle sensors of overhead tank. 3. EMPTY:- Glows this LED when water level falls below the middle sensor of overhead tank.

3. After installation of automatic water level controller verify again the connection before energize the circuit.
4. Do not keep the mode selection switch in OFF position( i.e. middle position). Ensure that AUTO led glows when automatic water level controller is in AUTO position. Similarly ensure that MANUAL led glows when automatic water level controller is in MANUAL position. During manual operation if the switch is not connected properly then you will not able to operate the pump start and stop buttons of starter panel.
